Sound notifications

Chatroll supports sound notifications on outgoing and incoming messages. To turn this feature on/off, go to your chat dashboard and click Settings > Features.

You can modify the sound notification settings as follows:

• Sound Notifications: Sets the default for whether or not a sound plays whenever a message is posted to the chat. Users can set their own preference to override this setting from the module.

Click the Save Settings button for changes to take effect.

Note: Users can set their own sound preferences using the “sound” icon within the chat module. A user’s sound preference will override the event’s Sound Notifications setting.
