Measuring audience engagement

Chatroll’s analytics provide insight into your audience’s engagement and experience.

Click Analytics > Overview for the following analytics:

  • Users: The number of unique users that connected to the chat.
  • Total Chat Time: The total time users spent connected to the chat.
  • Messages Delivered: The number of messages delivered by the chat.

Click Analytics > Audience for the following analytics about your audience:

  • Chat Sessions: The total number of times users connected to the chat.
  • Total Chat Time: The total amount of time users spent connected to the chat.
  • Average Chat Time: The average amount of time users spent connected to the chat.
  • Users by Sign-In Method: The number of users who logged in to the chat, by sign-in method.

Click Analytics > Engagement for the following analytics about your audience engagement:

  • Messages Sent: The number of messages posted to the chat.
  • Messages Delivered: The number of messages delivered by the chat.
  • Users Who Sent Messages: The number of users who posted at least one message (i.e., the number of active users).
  • Share Button Clicks: The number of users who clicked to share about your chat on Facebook or Twitter.

Click Analytics > Account for the following account-wide analytics:

  • Account Users: The total number of unique users across all chats in your account.
  • Account Total Chat Time: The total time across all chats in your account that users spent connected.

Use the drop-down menus to select the date range and whether you want to see Daily, Hourly or Monthly analytics. By hovering your mouse over a graph, you can see data about each point on the graph.
