Selecting chat login methods

To choose the options users have for logging in to your chat, go to your chat dashboard and click Settings > Access.

You have the following options:

  • Guest: Users can log in anonymously by entering a guest name.
  • Chatroll: Users can log in with a Chatroll account.
  • Facebook: Users can log in with their Facebook account. When users choose this option, a Facebook authentication screen opens to prompt users to log in to Facebook.
  • Twitter: Users can log in with a Twitter account. When users choose this option, a Twitter authentication screen opens to prompt users to log in to Twitter.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO): Users can log in using your website or app’s own authentication system. For more information, see SSO. To only allow users to log in via SSO, ensure this is the only selected option.
